Classes

Direct Dance Company principals Debbie Hawkins and Julie Gibbon are both qualified dance teachers affiliated to the United Teachers Of Dance and both hold current DBS & First Aid Certificates.  Debbie and Julie have been teaching for over 30 years and still have the love and passion they had when they first started out.

Classes cover Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, and Acrobatics and all are welcome from 3 years old to adult. All pupils have the opportunity to perform in our bi annual school dance show and are also encouraged to take examinations under the umbrella of the U.T.D association which is accredited to the C.D.E.T. The school has full insurance.

Ballet

An artistic dance form performed to music, using precise and highly formalized set of steps and gestures.

Tap

A dance performed wearing shoes fitted with metal taps, characterized by rhythmical tapping of the toes and heels.

Modern

A free expressive style of dance

Acro

A form of dance created using acrobatic tricks and dance.

 All students will need to be registered and their fees to be paid termly.

Sibling discounted rates: We offer a 10% sibling discount for when three or more siblings attend the school.
Tuition fees are payable before the beginning of the term. All missed classes are chargeable.

Uniform

All our uniform is available for you to purchase or order. On a Monday/Thursday from The Willow Centre Cringleford (4pm-6pm) or Saturday from Eaton Primary School (9am-12pm). We also have second hand uniform available to purchase. 
A new student needs to attend wearing appropriate clothing for the class (eg: sportswear/leggings ect..) We expect our students to have a complete uniform after the settling in period of four weeks.
We expects all our students to wear the correct uniform to classes, with their hair suitably tied up. Please can you make sure all shoes and personal belongings are labelled with the student’s name. We take no responsibility for personal items and clothing left at any of our venues.
Please remember that all students should have a water bottle for their class. We ask for no fizzy drinks in case of spillages.
